Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
This is a draft prepared for review. It should be checked by counsel before launch.
This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short because our practice is simple: we collect what we need to answer you and to understand how the site performs, and nothing else.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form we collect the name, business name, business type, email address, and (if you choose to provide them) phone number and website that you enter, along with your message. That is all the form asks for.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, licence numbers, FFL numbers, serial numbers, customer records, or any other regulated or sensitive information through this website.
We also collect standard analytics about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, approximate region derived from IP address, referring site, and device and browser type.
Why we collect it
Contact form information is used to respond to your inquiry and, if we begin working together, to administer that engagement.
Analytics information is used to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. It is not used to build advertising profiles of individual visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage for analytics and basic functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will continue to work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
We use service providers to operate the site and our business, including hosting, email delivery, analytics, and customer relationship management. They process information on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business relationship, then delete them on a routine schedule. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will act on the request. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will honour those.
If you receive marketing email from us, every message includes an unsubscribe link that works.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Children
This site is intended for businesses. It is not directed to children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
